I wanted to try timelapse painting for the first time and was inspired by Mark Hamill’s character Steve ‘Old Man’ Colton in Squadron 42.

Rough painting in Paintstorm Studio: Link
Tools: Wacom Intuos 5 tablet and Paintstorm Studio. I painted during a number of sessions that lasted 15-60 minutes. Before each session I would compare the proportions with the original image in Photoshop, attempting to memorize general proportional errors before I went back to painting.
